H.H Prince Waleed Al-Saud
Waleed bin Nasser is a professional entrepreneur, who is responsible for empowering and
assisting the F&B industry to grow and develop by partnering collaboratively with governmental entities to further elevate standards of practice, influence legislations, and implement a framework to objectively evaluate excellence. He was formerly the head of the Restaurants and Cafes Committee in the Chamber of Commerce. However, he stepped down from his position to establish and lead the R&C Association "Qoot" that had greater influence than those dictated by the National Committee.
His pioneer experience after spending more than a decade with various enterprises has led to attracting and retaining the Saudis in the F&B industry.
He had achieved success with well-established companies such as Americana, McDonalds RICC, to name a few. He was part of a professional team that led McDonald's Bold Plan to double the number of its stores in Saudi Arabia in three years.
As a director of “Qoot” Waleed has offered a high-level look at the macro-trends in the F&B
sees impacting the industry in the future, as well as the disrupters they foresee having the most impact.
