Founded in Denmark in 1944, over the last 70 or so years, Bodum has been known for iconic coffee and tea presses, kitchen gadgets and their signature, unique double wall glasses, all of which are made of highly durable and reusable materials. In the 1970s, we launched our first French press, creating the solution of making satisfying coffee without single use capsules or filters. Our first French press got selected as the most environmentally friendly coffee press by the international media. Over the past years the collection has earned numerous awards and expanded to include a variety of styles and sizes. Made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass and individually mouth-blown by expert artisans, the double wall construction creates an effective layer of insulation.
